Born and educated in the UK, Michael developed his art and engineering talents to win a major ‘Young Engineer for Britain’ prize in the late seventies. In 1988, Michael left the UK for Sydney.
For many years, Michael’s artistic abilities remained latent, whilst he concentrated on high technology IT projects, such as Ozemail and Holly.
In 2004 Michael left Sydney for the Sunshine Coast with the aim of combining his engineering and creative talents in his chosen field of creative lighting design and development. He founded Lumenico and has undertaken custom lighting projects for major enterprise clients all over Australia, many of which are fully engineered solar LED installations.

Since then, Lumenico has gone from strength-to-strength with high demand for custom lighting installations requiring specialised lighting fixtures which Michael designs and builds on the Sunshine Coast. Lumenico has full engineering facilities including CAD and CNC machining capabilities. Michael is always keen for a challenge and welcomes new projects which require a blend of engineering and creative design to achieve the perfect outcome.
